Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

These terms govern your use of IcuSync, a product of Tobstar Pty Ltd, operated at icusync.icu. By signing up, you agree to them.

1. What IcuSync is

IcuSync is a subscription service that connects Claude (by Anthropic) to your Intervals.icu training account via a Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration. It allows Claude to read your training data and write workouts to your Intervals.icu calendar on your behalf.

IcuSync is middleware. It does not host your training data, does not provide coaching services, and is not affiliated with Anthropic or Intervals.icu.

2. Your subscription

Access to IcuSync requires a paid subscription of $20.00 USD per year. Payment is processed via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each year unless you cancel before the renewal date.

To cancel, log in to your IcuSync account and cancel from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

3. What you need

To use IcuSync you need:

  • An Intervals.icu account (free), connected to IcuSync via OAuth
  • A Claude account (Anthropic) - paid plan required to use the MCP URL on web and mobile; free plan supported for Claude Desktop via installer

IcuSync is not responsible for changes to Claude or Intervals.icu that affect functionality. If either platform changes their API or access policies, IcuSync may be affected.

4. Acceptable use

You may use IcuSync for your own personal training purposes or, where applicable, as a coach to analyse the training data of athletes who have granted you access. You may not resell, share, or transfer your subscription to another person. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the IcuSync service or its API connections.

5. Coach responsibilities

IcuSync provides two ways for coaches to access athlete data through Claude: the IcuSync invite system (where an athlete explicitly grants access from their dashboard) and direct Intervals.icu coach mode (where a coach uses their Intervals.icu API key to access athletes they already coach on Intervals.icu).

If you use either coach access mode, you accept the following responsibilities:

  • You must inform your athletes that you use AI tools, including Claude by Anthropic, to assist with training analysis.
  • You must ensure you have a lawful basis to process athlete data through third-party AI systems under any applicable privacy law, including but not limited to the Australian Privacy Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • You must not use IcuSync coach access to process data for any purpose other than coaching the athlete whose data you are accessing.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of any training recommendations or workouts you provide to athletes based on Claude's output.

When setting up direct Intervals.icu coach mode, you will be asked to confirm that you have informed your athletes before the feature is activated. This confirmation is a condition of use.

IcuSync is a tool to assist coaches. It does not replace professional judgment. You remain responsible for all coaching decisions made using information obtained through IcuSync.

6. No coaching or medical advice

IcuSync and any output generated by Claude through IcuSync does not constitute professional coaching, medical advice, or a personalised training prescription. You are responsible for how you apply any information or workouts generated. See our Disclaimer page for more detail.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep IcuSync running reliably but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party API changes, or circumstances outside our control may affect availability. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruption.

8. Your data

IcuSync connects to Intervals.icu using OAuth. We do not store your training data. We store only what is necessary to operate your account: your email address, subscription status, and your encrypted OAuth token. See our data handling page and Privacy Policy for full details.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If the changes are significant, we will notify you by email. Continued use of IcuSync after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. IcuSync is a product of Tobstar Pty Ltd, registered in Victoria, Australia.
