Connect Coros to Claude AI

Australian Deaflympic marathon and ultra runner, and the solo developer behind IcuSync.

If you've searched for this, you probably want Claude to look at your Coros training data, spot patterns, and help plan your next block, and push that plan straight to your watch. Here's exactly how that works.

The short version

IcuSync doesn't connect to Coros directly. It connects to Claude AI and to Intervals.icu, and your Coros watch already syncs its activities into Intervals.icu automatically, most Coros users already have this set up. Once that connection exists, Claude can read your full Coros training history through IcuSync (activities, heart rate, power, pace, CTL/ATL/TSB) and push structured workouts back to your Coros calendar for you to run.

Do I need an Intervals.icu account?

Yes, and it's free. This isn't an extra hurdle, it's the reason this works at all. Intervals.icu already handles the Coros sync (device pairing, automatic upload, zone calculation), so IcuSync doesn't have to rebuild any of that. You get one training platform behind Claude instead of a separate connector per watch brand, and if you ever add a second device, say a bike computer alongside your Coros watch, it all lives in the same place.

If you don't have an Intervals.icu account yet, see Setting Up Intervals.icu for the First Time.

What Claude can do with your Coros data

  • Analyze recent training load, fatigue, and form (CTL, ATL, TSB)
  • Compare sessions, spot trends, flag overtraining risk
  • Answer questions in plain language: "how's my run fitness trending this month?"
  • Build structured workouts and push them straight to your Coros calendar
  • Review a completed Coros activity in detail

Why Intervals.icu, and not a closed platform

IcuSync could have built its own training platform from scratch. It didn't, on purpose. Here's what Intervals.icu is and why IcuSync is built on it.

Intervals.icu already does what most paid platforms charge for, and it's free. Power curves, CTL/ATL/TSB modelling, and support for every sport, running, cycling, swimming, triathlon, not just one. It covers the same ground as TrainingPeaks without the subscription. We've written more on how it stacks up here: Strava vs TrainingPeaks vs Intervals.icu.

It's a real, established community, not a walled garden. Intervals.icu's forum alone has over 110,000 members, active since 2018, with new athletes joining every week. It's built and maintained by a small independent team with an active community behind it, not a single closed platform.

You're not locked to one device. Garmin, Coros, Wahoo, Polar, and Suunto all sync natively into the same Intervals.icu account. Train on a Coros watch today, add a Wahoo bike computer tomorrow, it's all in one place, and this Claude connection covers all of it without any extra setup.

Your training data isn't stored by IcuSync. Claude's requests are answered live from Intervals.icu each time, nothing sits on IcuSync's servers in between. Full details are on our data page.

IcuSync is listed as an approved app in Intervals.icu's official directory, visible to any user under Settings → Apps. That's not a claim we make about ourselves, it's granted directly by Intervals.icu after review against their published API terms. Anyone can check it themselves.

Get started

  1. Create a free Intervals.icu account if you don't have one, and confirm your Coros is syncing (Settings → Connections)
  2. Sign up for IcuSync and connect your Intervals.icu account
  3. Add IcuSync as a connector in Claude and start asking about your training
